SF6 Optical Gas Imaging Camera

FLIR GF306

Model: GF306, 14,5 ° FOV Go to Product Support
product image

The FLIR GF306 optical gas imaging camera visualizes sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) and other gas emissions without the need to shut down operations. SF6 is used in the electric power industry as an insulator and quenching medium for gas-insulated substations and circuit breakers. The portable, non-contact GF306 allows you to quickly scan substations for leaks while maintaining a safe distance from high-voltage equipment. By catching leaks early, the GF306 reduces lost revenue to breakdowns and repairs.

  • Improve Efficiency

GF306 inspections are faster than traditional leak-detection tools, and capable of detecting SF6, anhydrous ammonia (NH3), and ethylene (C2H4).

  • Integrate with Predictive Maintenance

The GF306 accurately measures temperatures up to 500°C, making it a sound addition to your facility’s predictive maintenance program.

  • Save Gas, and Revenue

Reduce revenue loss by detecting gas leaks efficiently, at a safe distance away from high-voltage areas.
